Moi, Nimeni on Brittany. I am currently an outbound right outside the capital of Helsinki, Finland. I have been on exchange in Finland for about four months now. So far, my exchange has had its ups and downs but way more ups than downs. 😊 Being on exchange is one the most amazing experiences that anyone could possibly do in their life. I have well over enough friends, although you can never have too many. 😂 Absorbing the Finnish culture has been precisely interesting. Building such astonishing relationships with all three of my host families has been wonderful. It is hard for me to sit back and wonder what life would be like if I hadn't come on exchange, because for me, it just isn't possible.

To sum up these past four months would include me to type up tons of pages but instead I am going to tell you all about the best parts. My favorite parts of exchange so far has been all of the traveling I've been doing even if it means only i n Finland and also bonding with the people I love the most. 😌 Rotary has put together so many tours for us exchange students to go on TOGETHER which, so far, have been awesome. In November, a group of Rotarians and Rotex's took majority of us exchange students on a tour of Lapland, Finland (the Arctic Circle) for a few days. I did so much stuff for the first time in my life. I went downhill skiing, I saw reindeers up close and went on a Husky dog sleigh ride, I met Santa Clause, and so much more. A couple of weeks after my Lapland trip, my Rotary district took us on a Stockholm, Sweden cruise. I feel so very fortunate and blessed to meet the people who continue to change my life for the best. Being on exchange is eye-opening and an opportunity everyone should take, if possible. ❤
