The District 6970 Inbound Class of 2001-02 gathered for orientation in late August, starting with an afternoon on the ocean at the Ponte Vedra Beach Club.

Part of the afternoon's fun was surfing lessons. Tais proved to be the best student, but everyone enjoyed the opportunity to play in the sun and surf.

A little bit of beach volleyball was just the ticket after lunch. Luis, David, and Tais are sure the ball will come down eventually!

Mandarin Rotarian Ed Grey and his wife Nancy Lee invited the group out on his boat for a cruise up and down the St. Johns River.
