Fer Cascante from Ecuador arrived in Jacksonville on July
28. Welcoming her are District YE Committee member and South Jax Rotarian
Ken Weiss, first host mom Yvonne Moore, host dad Gary, and host sister (until
she leaves for France), Shaina.

Lorraine Villalard arrived from France on July 29.
Surrounding her at the Jacksonville Airport are her first host father Jeff
Rountree, who is president of host club Ocala Silver Springs Rotary, host
sister Alison, and host mom Debbie.

Alberto Dolci from Italy arrived on July 30 at the Orlando
Airport, to this great reception from his first host family, David and
Laurie Cope and kids. Alby is hosted by the Ocala Sunset Rotary
Club.

Just arrived from Thailand, here's Chavakorn Leelakul,
known as "Ling" to her friends and host family, shown here:

Ling arrived in Jacksonville on August 2, and is hosted by the Mandarin
Rotary Club

Host parents Curt and Amy Standish, and daughters Kelly and
Erin, welcomed Katharina Reessing from Germany on August 2. Kathy
is hosted by the Orange Park Rotary Club.

Jacksonville on August 3. Here she is with host father (and District YE
Chair) Al Kalter, host sister Kate, host mom Sue, and Mandarin Rotary Club
President Carol Bhide.

Finally! After a long paperwork
delay, District 6970 was happy to welcome Ayelén Blandi from
Argentina, who arrived in Jacksonville on September 22. At left, Ayé is
greeted by her Gainesville host family, the Colversons. From left: brother
Aaron, mom Kathy, Ayé, and dad Pete. The welcoming committee also
included four of our other inbounds. Surrounding Ayé in the photo at
right are Ling, Alessandra, Kathy, and Fer. Also at the airport (but able
to escape the photographer) were Gainesville Rotary Youth Exchange Officer
John Gregory and his wife Kathy. |
