Just arrived from Thailand, here's Chavakorn Leelakul, known as "Ling" to her friends and host family, shown here: Debbie and Mike Lindell, with daughters Jennifer and Sarah and friend. Ling arrived in Jacksonville on August 2, and is hosted by the Mandarin Rotary Club

Host parents Curt and Amy Standish, and daughters Kelly and Erin, welcomed Katharina Reessing from Germany on August 2. Kathy is hosted by the Orange Park Rotary Club.

Host father (and District YE Committee member) Rob Overly (left) welcomes Felipe Costa from Brazil to Jacksonville on August 4. Also there to greet Felipe is Dan Dodd, West Jacksonville Rotary Club Youth Exchange Officer.

Timothée Chevaux from France and his host dad and District YE Committee Member Tom McDermott, at a welcoming party on August 10.

Finally! After a long paperwork delay, District 6970 was happy to welcome Ayelén Blandi from Argentina, who arrived in Jacksonville on September 22. At left, Ayé is greeted by her Gainesville host family, the Colversons. From left: brother Aaron, mom Kathy, Ayé, and dad Pete. The welcoming committee also included four of our other inbounds. Surrounding Ayé in the photo at right are Ling, Alessandra, Kathy, and Fer. Also at the airport (but able to escape the photographer) were Gainesville Rotary Youth Exchange Officer John Gregory and his wife Kathy.

Go back in time, to a year earlier, and the arrival of our 2001-02 inbounds.
