Sell-Out Crowd Enjoys Returning 2004-05 Outbounds
A crowd of almost 250 Rotarians, parents, friends, and
students listened to our recently returned outbounds on July 21, at the Second
Annual Welcome Home Dinner. It was "Standing Room Only" at Ravine Gardens State
Park, for this wonderful event, and the students made the audience glad they
were there, with stories that were amazing, funny, touching, and more.
After enjoying a barbecue dinner provided by the Rotary
Foundation Fryers, the audience was treated to reports from all 21 "rebounds",
some in newly acquired native dress, some via newly acquired languages, and one
even in song! It was an evening that no one will soon forget.
