New Year's Eve - December
31, 2006 to January 1, 2007
|
What a great way to bring in the new year! Twenty-six of
our inbounds (and two rebounds) joined our District Governor, Brent
Williams, on the Rotary float in the annual Gator Bowl Parade in downtown
Jacksonville. Waving their flags, handing out lollipops, wishing "Happy
New Year" to thousands along the parade route, it all combined to make for
a really fun experience.
But the fun was just beginning. We all headed to the
home of Mandarin Rotarian Mike and Debbie Lindell, for a New Year's Eve
party that will never be forgotten! It was a unique and fabulous way to
celebrate the start of 2007.
