District 6970 sponsored five area students for the summer exchange program in 2008. This Short-Term Exchange allows teens to spend 3-4 weeks abroad with a family that has a son or daughter of about the same age, followed by (or preceded by) a return visit of 3-4 weeks with the foreign teenager here.
