We started out cooking and serving
dinner at a down town Jacksonville homeless shelter.
The evening and night was spent at a spectacular party at David and
Melody Shachter's home in Arlington. Watching the fireworks over the
water was a good start of a new year!

For the fourth year in a row, District 6970's inbound
students (along with some Rotex) rang in the new year together in
Jacksonville, starting with our annual participation in the Gator Bowl
Parade, and continuing with an all-night New Year's Eve party at the home
of David and Melody Shacter of Arlington. As the pictures below will
attest, a good time was had by all!
