October 22I'm Silvia Di Lenarda. Sorry I didn't write before but my new life is very busy. I'm very happy to stay in America and in my beautiful new family, that is very friendly and funny, and for this I think that, I don't miss my Italian family as much. Every day I go to school with my 2 American sisters from 7:30 to 3:00. I am on the Junior Varsity volleyball team and we practice at 4:00 Monday through Thursday. I enjoy this very much, even though we do not win many games. It's very fun because I have met different people. Now I think that I am starting to understand my American experience and I understand now the difference in lifestyles. The first weekend of November I will go stay with Liz Taft's parents, in Barberville (the girl that now is in my house in Italy). I think that (for now) all my American experience is very positive and fun. I have met new friends and I helped out at the church's Octoberfest with my sister Kristina. I think it is a very important experience for every person for growing up. November 10A few pictures from Silvia's visit with the Tafts:
