Kaori's Bio

Hi! Everyone! How was your day? Every day, I’m very excited. Because, everything is fresh for me. So, I’m always trying new things.

Last weekend, I went to rock concert with my friends. This concert was very funny!! Because, some people were dancing! This dance is very silly! For example, flailing the arms and kicking and running etc…! I was surprised! I thought a concert is listening to music! Not running or kicking!

My house has a lake to the front. So, I can swim everyday. Now my skin is very brown. Oh. I forgot! Introduce myself! Hi. My name is Kaori Kuruma. I’m from JAPAN! Now I am staying in DeLand. And my school is DeLand high school. DeLand High School is too big!! So Big!!! In Japan I moved around the class room. But now I move around the building! It is very hard for me. Because, I’m very short and around me the people are very tall! So, I can’t see anything! But I like DeLand and everyday I feel happy! I hope everybody feels happy!!! See you!

October 26 Journal

Hey guys. How are you? And how was your weekend? I was so excited. It was very nice days for me. Did you remember, we made T-shirt, it is most good memory for me. I love our T-shirt. Maybe I will use T-shirt in high school. lol I very much missed all the exchange students. So, this time was really good for me. and I felt very happy. Because, nobody felt sad or homesick. I think this is most important thing. So if you feel homesick or something we should share with everyone. I think so.

By the way I was very glad to see Hal and Jackie (they took in me in their house.) They were such nice persons and Jackie is very good cook. Celeste and Elena and I stayed in their house. It was really enjoyable. We tried “karaoke” and making a cake, etc. “Karaoke” was hard for me. I love “karaoke”. But I never tried English songs. So this time we were trying English songs. I had very big trouble reading the words. Words went by very quickly. But when I could understand, I felt happy.

So this time I very enjoyed. I hope we can meet again soon. Bye!

December 8 Journal

Hey guys. How was your this week? Mine was so good. But, I was so tired too. So sometimes I slept in class……… I just kidding.! lol I wanted but I didn’t.

I’m so glad about last weekend. When I was back to the house, I called to my friend. And I was talking about everything. For example I went to Disney 4 days. And I met many exchange students and I had so much fun and ……….etc. My friend said "oh my gosh! You are so lucky! I’m jealous of you etc."  Yes I am lucky! I agree. lol I had lot of fun and I could make many friends.

I think this year is the most good memories of my life. So I want to say THANK YOU for Rotary club. Sorry I want write more. But I have homework. So I have to go to desk. When I have free time I will send e-mail to here. So bye guys. Have a good weekend. And have a good Christmas! (almost Christmas! I can’t wait!!!)

P.S. I’m missing every exchange student so much. So I hope we will see soon.
