Lucile's Bio

HELLO everybody! My name is Lucile JOLION, I’m 17 years old, and I’m from France… exactly in STRASBOURG in the northeast.

I have one brother, he is 20 years old, and actually he is studying in the same school. I love the animals and I have 2 dogs (Boston terrier) and 3 cats.

My hobby is the theater… I love theater… when I practice theater, everything else disappears. My dream is to become an actress. My school here is so wonderful because it’s for acting and drama and I can practice all the days.

I would become an exchange student because it is a wonderful experience and after everything it’s different. You see the world not the same way. And you have friends all over the world…. So fun!!!

September 22 Journal & Pictures

Bonjour everybody .....

I write my journal... I know I'm very late but I can't write before because I'm so bad in English for this....

Ok I am so happy now and I love so much my family..... My sister Jennifer is my best friend here.... all the time we have fun activities....I live in Ponte Vedra, very CLOSE TO THE BEACH.... MY SCHOOL IT'S VERY COOL ...ok the first time the people look like very strange ... sometimes I see strange haircuts and strange clothes (punk people..) it's funny .....but I think my school it's very difference than another school in Jacksonville.... because this school is for the arts ... and the people who comes here have to do a specialty for something...

Yesterday I saw the shows in my school...This is just AMAZING... The guys are just wonderful ... this is about dancing and singing... I LOVE this so muchhhhhhhh .......

AND I HAVE SEEN THE JAGUARS GAMES.... MY FIRST JAGUAR GAME WITH NATHALIA FROM BRASILLLLLLLLLLL (I LOVE MY SECOND SISTER) IS SO FUNNY WE HAVE DANCING AND SINGING AND EVERYBODY IS HAPPY BECAUSE WE HAVE WON.......and my second game was with my host family and was so funny too but more traditional ... you can see the pictures ...my hot dog....so big I think I've never seen this kind of hot dog ....

I'm not sure my sentences are right but I hope everyone can understand what I mean ..... AND the last week I have a Brazilian party in Edgar's house... oh my goodness this party with just Brazilian exchange students is so funnyyyyyyyyyy ....I'm FResillian now....I'm kidding (see picture).

I will so enjoy seeing you all for next meeting in October ...

Thank you so much Rotary for every thing ...

I LOVE AND I MISS YOU....

December 27 Journal

Hey hey amigas amigos….

How are you??? I wish you a merry Christmas and not happy new years yet because I probably spend the new years with you…ahahhahaha

Anyway I’m so sorry I take so much time to write my journal because all the times I forgot or I’m just so busy… Whatever it's more exciting to write after 3 months ...  you have more exciting things to tell for everybody …

I’m this really lucky kind of girl who has a perfect family, really good friends, really good school and I'm anyway just so LUCKY TO BE AN EXCHANGE STUDENT …..

I have been doing so many things in these 5 month the times passed so fast… it's crazy …. In my school I have taken some theater auditions to enter in a school piece but this was so hard …. I have to play a girl with British accent…Oh my god you can ask Ida, Nathalia, Elena or Edgar, they see me try to do it …that was Funny….

And we have been in Orlando….DISNEY WORLD…THIS WAS GREAT … so much fun, we have met so many exchange students and make so really good friends relationship… I can’t tell you what was my favorite parks because all are so perfect…I mean in Magic Kingdom I was like a little girl …happy when I saw Mickey, happy when I saw all the PRINCESSES, HAPPY WHEN I SAW THIS PARADE WITH ALL THE CARTOON DISNEY, AND IT WAS JUST WONDERFUL TO WATCH THIS WONDERFUL FIREWORKS …I WAS CRYING and in this moment I really realize how much I'm lucky to be here….I REALIZE I'M NOT CRYING BECAUSE I WAS SAD, BUT BECAUSE I WAS HAPPY… I SAW LAST WEEK THIS MOVIE IN THEATER ‘THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS’….IT WAS REALLY GOOD …. IN THIS MOVIE THIS MAN (Will Smith) ARE SO STRONG because he HAS HARD LIFE(no jobs , one kids, no wife..)BUT HE NEVER SAY”NEVER MIND’’ AND IN THIS MOVIE this guy crying just two times…One time because he was homeless with his kids and another time because he was so happy ….I mean I realize these things in this movie because when something’s happened in your life really hard who should cry because this makes you feel better or just because you can't resist, but when you cry for happiness this is AMAZING…..

In Epcot I really love all the little parts with different countries … it was so much fun and really interesting… in all the different countries we try different clothes and make fun with some cultural differences. The things that are great in Epcot when you are with exchange student is you can really have a guide to explain every things about their countries (Thank you Roman for the Germany parts, Pikatchu for the Japanese and I do this for France of course) DISNEY WORLD was great great great…. thank you so much Rotary ….

Anyway ….I just passed Christmas and I actually felt really good… I know the Christmas times it’s really hard when you're not with your real family but for me it was just perfect…. On December 24 we have been all the family (my two brothers, my sister and my parents) in the Jaguars games…. But the best things are we have been in Jaguar’s games in LIMOUSIIIIINEEEEEEEE….. I still can’t believe that…In LIMOUSINE GUYS…. It was a good surprise from the father for everyone…I saw again this wonderful big car really chic for rich people… I really feel like a FAMOUS PEOPLE…I was so, so, so…..HAPPY .... The bad thing is the Jaguars lost the game….

Anyway on December 25 for Christmas when I opened my presents I find a “IPOD…..IPOD I….P…..O…D….” and again I start crying for happiness... I can’t believe they buy me this …. I mean it’s crazy… And they didn’t just buy me this … I received so many other things, like lotions for body and hair, a suit case, and so many candies and chocolates….Thank you Santa…;) And my mom cooks this delicious food …Hmmmm I love my family …. I love them… I just completely love them …. I mean I can’t realize one day I need to leave forever… I really feel like part of this family…

The new Lucile?

I think now my life starts for me to be my real life. I mean I really feel I'm an American girl … My friends are Americans (except for you Exchange students), my family are Americans, and I think my English starts to be good or much better than before … I understand everything and can talk much better….

I just want to say again THANK YOU FOR ALL THIS AMAZING EXPERIENCE …..This just completely changes my life…

I love you guys and I miss you … You exchangers are all AMAZING…

WE ARE AMAZING… because we are friends for ever…. I just want tell every one … If one of you want come visit me in France you are WELCOME TO COME IN MY HOUSE…hahahahaha just call me guys…
