Dora's Bio
|
Hi, my name Isadora (Dora), 17. I am from Brazil. In Brazil, I
live in a small town named Colina, and it has 17 thousand people. I am 4 hours
from Sao Paulo, the capital of my state. I live with my dad, my mom, and my
sister.
My family is involved with Rotary for a long time. Every
year we host students from around the world. So this made me interested in
this program.
I arrived in Florida August 9, I’m very happy to be here.
Now I live in Inverness. I love my Host Family, they are very nice to me.
Thank you Rotary for giving me this amazing opportunity. I
promise that I will do my best.
A big Brazilian hug. |

I'm
here in the USA for almost two months and now I'm more accustomed to the
differences between Brazil and the American culture.
My host family always takes me to see new places. I went to Sea World and
saw Shamu and other sea life. I went on a boat ride in the Gulf of Mexico. I
went to my host Rotary club, and I felt very comfortable there. In school I
cheered with the varsity cheerleaders. We did the halftime show for the pep
rally. I got to be lifted up above the heads of the other cheerleaders. It
was a lot of fun.
We had the homecoming dance afterwards. The dances in America are very
different from what I am used to in Brazil. I am also in the chorus at
school. We recently did a Broadway Show Songs performance. I have just
joined the Spanish Club. We will be going on a field trip in December.
