Takuya's Bio

Hello. My name is Takuya Takahara and my nickname is Taky. Please call me Takuya or Taky. My birthday is June 21, 1991. I'm 17 years old. I live in Niimi city. My city is in located in the western part of Japan. I have lived in Niimi city since 1991 with my family. My family has 4 people: father, mother, young brother, and me. My parents run a company that is making meals for my school's dormitory students. I play baseball in Japan and I'm a pitcher. I'm playing baseball in my school here.

I go to Crystal River High School. In school I'm learning English and culture, playing baseball, making good friends. I take Math, P.E., PC class, American history, and baseball... I love baseball. Crystal River HS has very good teachers and students. I think Crystal River's people are very good. I love this town.

I am sure that I will get many excellent friends and experiences. Thank you.

I am enjoying my life in Crystal River! My high school is not so big. But I have good friends and teachers.

I go there by my baseball team's friend's car! And he is a one of my best friends!

I don't take an English class, but my host family, my friends, teacher, and baseball teammates teach me English! I'm learning English and American culture. My host family is so good! I'm learning American from them. They are very kind when talk to me. I like my host family!

I play baseball at Crystal River High School. I got excellent teammates! They teach me English and play baseball with me. We are leaning each other! I think that is very good. We talk about baseball, America, Japan, and so on.

I'm getting excellent friends and experience! Thank you for giving me wonderful opportunity like this.
