Esther's Bio

My name is Esther, I turned 18 in September. I come from Lille, in the northern part of France, which is one of the biggest French city. I'm currently a Senior in Winter Park High School, Winter Park, in the suburb of Orlando. In that school I'm studying many things that I couldn't study in French high school, for example home design. I wanted to come to USA this year in order to improve my English because I'd like to become ambassadress, but also to go away from everything and start from scratch, which is for me a very important experience in a young adult life. And I obviously would like to thank the Rotary for the opportunity they gave me.

I'm what we can called a really active and outgoing person, very curious, who likes to discover new things and get to know a lot of different new stuffs. I'm interested in politics, fashion.. I used to practice horseback riding and ski, what I unfortunately can't do in Florida.

Here I'm living in the perfect host family. I have a host sister whose name is Cati, she's sixteen, so we're usually hanging out together with all her friends. I also have a little host brother whose name is Chris, he is 12 and he is a really smart person. I'm living in the biggest house I've ever seen in my life, with nice people as everybody would like to get as an host family. I don't know yet if I'm going to move in other families but I don't even know if I wanna go somewhere else.

I'm lucky because I already have a lot of friends who are bringing me everywhere with a lot of pleasure.

I'm so glad to be a part of this exchange because everyday I realize how much this makes me grow!
