Bronis's Bio

Hi, I'm Bronis, From Brazil, I'm 18 years old. I live in the state of Parana, well known for the Iguassu falls (cataratas do iguacu), and the Itaipu Dam. I have only one brother, older than me, and many fiends.

My life in Brazil is really good, my school starts at 7:15 and ends at 12:30pm. It takes me around one and one half hours to get home, because of the public transportation. After school I normally study, hang out with friends or just help at home.

I became a exchange student principally because of the alternative language, and for my personal growth as a person, learning how to deal with the most variable situations, emotional, monetary, and organizational. It is a good way to see the world from another side, listen to different opinions, try different experiences like food, school, and styles of life!

I expect by the end of this year I will be fluent in English, with a final decision about my future career, and of course, much more information and knowledge.

I am a calm person, with a good sense of humor, friendly. My favorite kind of music is rock. I love to ride my bike, watch tv, read books, see movies, and of course hang out with my friends! For my future I want to follow the geology or geography career, what I think is interesting.

I am enjoying Florida, the experience, the English, the food ... THE BACON..

And guess what? When they told you to keep busy to make the homesickness small, it really helps. I have a week full of things to do, like karate, Interact club, drama club, homework, and other things that keep me in constant action and movement! This is what makes me feel really good.

I thank my family in brazil, my family here, my friends and rotary, for, this opportunity.
