Foo Foo's Bio

Hello everyone !! My name is Warangkana but you can call me Foo Foo. I came from Songkhla, Thailand. My city is in the south of Thailand and we have the big lake and the beach. I am 16 years old and I have one younger sister. I miss my family so much but I still want to stay here at Florida. I'm in the sea plane city, Tavares in the middle of Florida district 6980. I'm studying in Tavares high school. I live near the school and right across the baseball court. Isn't it cool. I play soccer at school after studying at 2.30 pm. I'm in 11th Grade or Junior. There are 4 period in each day. We have B day and A day. I like it so much and I like to play basketball and zumba at the YMCA after soccer practice.
My host family is very good. I love them. There is a cute little host sister in our house. I feel like I have another sister now. I'm staying with another Rotary Exchange student. We share the room together, we study together do many things together. We like twins haha.
I'm so lucky to be here. I've dreamed to come here since I was young and now my dream comes true. Now I have to learn many things that I've never learn and do many things that I've never done before. And I wish I have the super great year here !!

Since I've been here for almost 4 months in Tavares, Florida since 8-9-11. I've had a good time so far. I live with a great family. There is a cute little sister that live with me in the house and a cool brother and sister in college so they live in another place and there are 2 sisters in the same age with me but she is in Paris and the other live in another house. They are great sisters and brother. I love them so much.

Before I arrived I had so much troubles about the flight to come here. I had to change many flights because the flight that I took was canceled and when I got in LAX I miss the connect flight so I had to wait in the airport because I couldn't call anyone but luckily I found Thai people there, so they helped me to get to Orlando. I was very scared if I couldn't get here. haha It was the first tough experience.

The first 2-3 weeks in Tavares was in the summer time. My host family and I went to Daytona Beach and we had lots of fun there. It's very hot so I got dark so quick lol. I was so busy in the summer because it was the new life for me so I learned many things and got ready for the paper works and school and the YMCA , met my new friends etc.till the school start. I ‘m in Tavares high school and I love it.

I’ve been to Disney world with my family and we were camping with the tents. It was fun. I went to Universal when it had Halloween Horror night and we were camping in the motor car near the universal. I had a great time and screamed all night haha. I had gone tubing with exchange friends in my district and I have met many families in Tavares that they got exchange students. I went to the Rotary interview for exchange students next year. I went to the horse show and raise the money for the kids by doing the hamburgers and hot dogs. And I had been shopping on the black Friday it was another new things for me in America. There were many people and I’ve been shopping since midnight until the morning. I’m so tired and went to sleep all day long but not too much. I had Thanks giving with 3 families. Isn’t it cool. I played American football flag with the Melanie’s neighborhoods and my team won yayyyyyy! And now in December we are going to have Christmas time in North Carolina with snow. I’m so excited !!
