Nieves's Bio

My name is Nieves and I'm from Spain. I was born in Madrid, Spain's capital, but when I was 2 years old we moved to Alicante, a city in the southeast of Spain. I'm 16 years old and I'm going to study my junior year here, in Florida.

Alicante is a beautiful city in the Mediterranean coast, characterized by it"s beaches of the Mediterranean sea. In summer is when more people goes to Alicante to spend their holidays there.

I like to spend my time with my family and fiends, that both are the most important thing fo me. I use to hang out with my friends, going to the mall, movies theater or the beach. Also, sometimes we use to play some sports like volleyball, paddle tennis or swimming, but the sports that i really love are skiing and horse ridding.

I think this year is an oppurtunity for discover other culture and other way of life, the American way of life, meet new people and the biggest challenge, learn to speak english fruently.

I'm so grateful to the people who has do that this year, that I'm going to remember all my life, can be possible and real, like my parents and Rotary. Thank you so much! I know that this year is going to be unforgettable.
