Tuana's Bio

My name is Tuana, I am 18 years old and exchange student from Istanbul, Turkey. I have one sibling, my sister Sila. Sila is 22 years old and she was exchange student like i am now.
I have always been interested with something. It was not only one thing, always changed. That was swimming, being in volleyball team and basketball team, theatre, dancing (folklore) , singing in choir...

So now why I decided to become an exchange student and come to America. As you see, I've always been in wondered for the other countries, and their cultures. And America was my first country that I really want to see and know something about it.

I want to say that thank you Rotary Club for giving a chance to us. And thank you to my family for supporting me to be here! Because I am really glad to be here.

December 4

When we get to December thirteenth, it is going to be 4 months in America for me! Disney, Halloween in Universal Studios, gypsy costume, acting like a dead girl in haunted theatre, family, friends, homecoming, my school spirit, theatre. Fun, fun fun! A lot of things to learn.
Time is flying and I cannot even catch it.

Well, we had a lot of parties especially in October! It was a crazy month, there was a lot of activities with Rotary so we had fun with exchange students, so many things to learn about America.

I have eaten Turkish cuisine, that was exciting for me, I guess I missed my food and of course Turkish coffee! I think that is pretty much it right now, now this Thursday we are going to go to Disney for 4 days. I am really excited, let's see!
