Hola,
hello, shalom, and bonjour! I am Lucia Berezovsky. As you can see, I speak
four languages. Two of them fluently, one of them almost!, and the other one
learning still. A young, free-spirited 16 year old originally from Buenos
Aires, Argentina, I am currently living in Altamonte Springs, in Florida.
The past five years have been a beautiful challenge in which I had to learn,
grow, and adapt to a new culture and a new way of being. My parents own a
restaurant of Argentinean and Mediterranean cuisine, my older brother is 18.
His name is Javier, and is now studying computer science. As for my little
brother, Julian, he is 14 and attending Teague Middle School. My family
always supports me and is a very big influence in everything I do in my
life. They take opinion on what they believe is right for me and we are very
close.
I am very adventurous. I love the feeling of trying new
things, meeting new people, and pushing myself towards that extra step. To
me, adapting and seeing the world and culture out there is a very big event
in my life. I feel the need to explore and see with my own eyes to
understand other peoples in the world.
About me, I love reading. I read more than I breathe! I am
always carrying a book with me. If I知 not smiling or laughing it痴 probably
because you値l see my nose buried in a page somewhere from a book. I am very
outgoing and you can almost never find me home. I tend to enjoy the company
of people and you can always find me with a friend or family by my side.
I like to believe that I have a very positive outlook on
life. I tend to make the best even out of the worst situations. I can稚
stand when the people whom I知 surrounded by are going through a tough
moment, and I知 always lending out my shoulder for someone else to cry on.
This program will change my life. When I step into the
plane I believe how I see things will change. The people who I will meet
will most likely change the way that I view life. I知 truly looking forwards
to this new experience in my life. Thank you, Rotary, for giving me this
chance. |
