Austin's Bio
My name is Austin Markford, I am 16 years old. I live in a small beach town
on the east coast of south Florida called Vero Beach, well that’s not
totally the truth I live in Vero 3 days of the week and Sebastian 2 days of
the week. I alternate every other weekend because my parents are divorced …
but that’s not always a bad thing “Life is what you make it”. At my dad’s I
live on the beach and at my mom’s I live on the river so of course I have a
passion for the water, and everything that comes with it. I love being by
the water, fishing, camping, hiking and hanging out with my friends.
I have 4 step siblings on my mom’s side Andrew,
Jessica, Emily, and Richard. I can hardly refer to them as step because
they have been like my real brothers and sisters for as long as I can
remember, and I can’t imagine it any other way … but I am going to have to
because I will be spending my Junior year abroad In South America …oh wait
it gets better … oh you want to know how because I am not only going to be
In South America but Argentina, yes you read that right I will be spending
my year abroad in ARGENTINA! And I couldn’t be happier. After my exchange I
plan to attend college at the University of Miami and or Florida
International University where I will major in International Studies and
hopefully pursue a career in International Relations. THANK YOU ROTARY AND
